Designated High School Social Science
Ms. Lee is originally from a small island in Puget Sound, Washington. She went to college in Florida where she studied Business Administration. After college, Ms. Lee joined the Peace Corps and lived in Mali, West Africa for two years. During her Peace Corps service, she developed a passion for teaching. After returning to the states, Ms. Lee moved to Arcata, CA in 2008 to participate in a Peace Corps Fellowship, teaching full-time in a small charter high school for two years, and completing the Teaching Credential Program at Humboldt State University. Ms. Lee is credentialed in Social Science and has a supplementary credential in Introductory Business. She has a deep passion for social justice and global awareness.
Ms. Lee enjoys surfing, hoop dancing, hiking, traveling, yoga, and reading about history!
